Not A Single Democratic Woman in Congress Will Accurately Define the Women They Purport to Champion
When the Democratic women filed into the Presidential State of the Union address yesterday, dozens of them were wearing white to create awareness of their commitment to advancing “women’s rights.”
Representative Robin Kelly tweeted, “As the hours count down to President Biden’s State of the Union, I’ve joined my @DemWomenCaucus colleagues in all white to symbolize our joint commitment to women’s rights.”
It’s International Women’s Day, so the gesture seems fitting. Now is as good a time as any to create necessary awareness of the litany of issues that continue to disproportionately affect women across the globe. The glaring problem I have with this performance of solidarity, however, is that not a single one of these Democratic women has the gumption or the intellectual honesty to accurately define what a woman even is. Every single one of them has, in fact, sold women down the river in order to embrace trans ideology, which, it turns out, is little more than cleverly rebranded men’s rights activism. When gender identity wins, women always lose.
What, pray tell, are women’s rights if anyone can be a woman and claim them? Regardless of where you stand on abortion, for example, you forfeit any right to exclude men from the broader conversation if you are actively claiming that men can give birth.
It used to be that firing a woman for needing to breastfeed on the job was considered sex discrimination, but now that the powers-that-be have declared that men can breastfeed, too, it’s no longer a sex-based issue, and those hard fought protections that used to keep women safe are rendered null and void. What we are observing is a slow and painful unraveling of every sex-based protection our sisters before us fought to achieve.
You cannot defend or champion women if you won’t first accurately define us by the material reality of our sex: We are adult human females.
But the Democratic women won’t acknowledge this. In fact, they’re all actively playing handmaiden to the new men’s sexual rights movement. Someone on Twitter accused me of being hyperbolic. “You can’t possibly claim to know what each and every one of these women actually thinks,” she scolded me. And while that may be true (I’m not actually privy to these women’s inner thought lives), what I can do is hold them accountable to the things they do and say on the public record.
So I spent a few hours this evening cataloging some of the evidence. It’s non-exhaustive, but it does create a powerful illustration of the reality that NOT A SINGLE DEMOCRATIC WOMAN IN CONGRESS IS BRAVE ENOUGH OR WISE ENOUGH TO RESIST THE GENDER CULT.

Like I said, every single one of these women has hamstrung her credibility. Every single one of them is willing to trample women’s needs in order to center men.
When women decide to unite and march or wear white in opposition to pornography, prostitution, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and female erasure instead of uniting around Planned Parenthood's political agenda and men’s takeover of women’s spaces…
When the voices they choose to elevate all belong to actual women instead of men in dresses...
When they stop their relentless bully campaign against material reality…
…then maybe I will take them seriously when they claim to care about women.
I'm working to treat my writing like a job, so if you appreciate my writing, I would be so grateful if you would consider investing in a paid subscription. I try to keep my costs low. Thanks so much for your support!
Wow, talk about bringing receipts! Very powerful post and so typical of politicians, men and women. However the wind blows... That phrase, "men in dresses" really sticks with me. Growing up around older men who fought in WWII, worked hard to support their families, stood by their word, etc., the weirdest thing in the world to me was cross-dressing men. It was, and still is, something that just doesn't compute. Now I'm gobsmacked that men can be proud of beating women in sports, stealing their glory. How can they be proud of that? I grew up believing men should protect and encourage women not replace them. It's just so wrong. "Men in dresses," God help us...
