The FBI has issues for sure. Conspiracy theories about the FBI may be utterly demented but they do locate the problem correctly. This is what gives conspiracy theories power: they offer explanations for the real or perceived locus of power in the world. Some are real, many contain a grain of truth, most however are deranged.

Yeah I have heard people talking about this Project 2025 as if it is a tool of Christian Nationalism, but in a cursory overview it doesn’t seem like this is true. I definitely don’t like that they want to cut social programs instead of foreign aid and military spending.

It is fascinating to me how quickly and widely the topic of Project 2025 has cut the line to be this month's favorite meme. The timing of this latest hysteria...including Biden's twitter team imploring people today to Google it...is, in itself, incredible to behold. While The Party scrambles to deal with what to do with their wounded duck candidate, the rapidity with which this Project 2025 promotion reverberates through social media echo chambers is indeed impressive
